My whole life I have been in and around various sports, competing at a national level from a young age in multiple disciplines but I turned to CrossFit in mid 2018 looking for a change in direction.
I spent the first 2-3 years of my training life in the bodybuilding and fitness scene, competing and placing high in a few events and shows. It wasn’t until i started to fall out of love with the process that i turned to functional styles of training and then realised my potential within the sport and as an athlete.
Progressing through strength and conditioning programmes for a few months got me started before i was introduced to the world of CrossFit and since then i haven’t looked back. I was brought to MVMT42 first as an athlete and then joined the team in November 2018. I am hungry to grow as an athlete and professionally, always wanting to improve my performance, knowledge and skill set.
My focus is on progression within the sport, reaching the short and long term goals i have set myself within my training so I can be the best athlete I can. I feel this filters through well into every aspect of my role here and want to help others maximise their time and experience with us at MVMT42.
TOP TRAINING TIP
Don’t give up, your hard work will always produce the results one day. Stick with it no matter how hard it gets at the time.
