CROSSFIT GYMNASTICS LVL 1, GYMNASTICS BODIES LVL 1, ACE PERSONAL TRAINER LVL 3
I have always been involved in the fitness world having been a competitive swimmer and springboard diver for Zimbabwe from the age of 8 years old up until my early 20s. This inspired a fascination in me to have a better understanding of the physiological adaption and muscular development of the human body and so I studied up to my level 3 PT. In recent years I have wanted to advance my knowledge and have a more in-depth concept of biomechanics and hypertrophy especially with regards to gymnastics strength and conditioning.
I have only recently become a proud member of the MVMT42 team and have been inspired by some of the most incredible individuals that make up the team to improve not only my own approach to training and progress as a whole but also to encourage my clients to aim for true mastery and purpose.
It is one of the most empowering things to enable an athlete to realise their potential and providing them with the tools, guidance and knowledge to achieve it. The ultimate end goal is to build a physical structure that is balanced, strong, mobile and stable. A body in this state is able to adapt and progress continuously, and aids in making new skill acquisition a much faster and smooth process.
My programme design revolves around restoring balance to the musculature anatomy, increasing overall awareness of ideal mechanics through a movement, and raw toe to fingertip strength and control.
TOP TRAINING TIP
Have the patience to gain total control and strength on a level of progressions before moving up to the next one. It will pay off in the long run.
