Who is CrossFit Kinisi?

We are the only affiliated CrossFit gym in Worthing and in the local surrounding area, which means we offer a variety of unique CrossFit classes daily, all from the comfort of our newly refurbished training facility at the foot of the South Downs. You can find us on the official CrossFit website under ‘affiliates’ by searching for ‘CrossFit Kinisi’ and you’ll see us straight away. We feel our name is rather fitting, considering ‘kinisi’ means movement and everything we do is about how we can get you moving more effectively.

What is CrossFit?

The standard definition of CrossFit is ‘a high-intensity fitness programme incorporating elements from several sports and types of exercise.’ We devise bespoke CrossFit training programmes, so you learn and perfectly perform a multitude of functional movements inspired by gymnastics, weightlifting, running and rowing. All the movements are high intensity but are taught first and foremost correctly to ensure perfect form and safe training to prevent injuries.


CrossFit is more than just a sport; it’s a fitness lifestyle where you meet likeminded people who support each other. It’s not just about pushing yourself to the extreme in class, it’s about pushing your body and how it moves to the maximum threshold it can cope with BUT in a safe controlled way so next time you can improve a little more.


Our CrossFit programmes have been created for real people; from busy working mums, those harbouring a ‘Dad-bod’, people who haven’t trained before, through to the fitness fanatics who have been training since they were in nappies! All of these people must have one thing in common -  you must be committed and willing to work hard to achieve your fitness goals.


CrossFit is about us working together to deliver real results; all our coaches genuinely care about whether you make progress or not. CrossFit is not about false promises or quick fixes that you may have previously had from other gyms in Worthing or through personal training sessions. Instead, here at MVMT42, it’s about hands-on coaching, support, and encouragement, plus recognition for working hard; all while having a great time, forming friendships and becoming part of our community.


CrossFit is about watching people grow.  We love watching someone go from not being able to pick themselves up off the ground to be able to lift 40kg or more from the ground over their head. Through structured training, a positive attitude and ongoing coaching from our team of highly trained professionals our CrossFit programme helps people change their attitude to fitness as well as transforming themselves both physically and mentally.

CrossFit is for the fitness enthusiast looking to find their inner athlete. It doesn’t mean you need to be an expert before joining, it simply means you need to be passionate about your fitness, up for a challenge and willing to work hard and have fun.
