Initially with a focus on Cricket, I played at county level throughout the junior age groups, and at the highest non professional club level. During my time playing the sport, I managed to complete all my coaching badges up to Level 3, joined the ECB Coach Education team and have delivered a number of Level 1 and Level 2 Coaching qualifications, at present I have taught over 100 coaches the fundamentals of how to coach.
Throughout all of this I have been an avid gym goer, diet follower, fad-following fitness nut.
This experience (both good and bad) has given me a decent idea of what works and what doesn’t work, first hand. I won’t ask you to do anything that I wouldn’t be prepared to do myself.
My advice is always evidence based, I study the science behind coaching, fitness, health and athletic performance. I have an Undergraduate degree from the University of Brighton, and continue to study relevant literature.
